Beauty Day Spa – Rejuvenate Your Skin With a Natural Treatment

Author: A Aaronson

Whether you feel your age has been showing more in your face lately or you just want to pamper your skin, there are plenty of ways to rejuvenate it at your local beauty day spa.

You can select based on what your favorite salon offers, or you can choose a treatment based on the time and commitment you're willing to spend on perfecting your facial features.

If your face feels particularly dry, you can eliminate this feeling easily by having a mask applied. A honey massage is a sweet way to regenerate your cells to add moisture and a smoother texture. This is because honey has long been known to naturally hold moisturizing properties like enzymes, sugar, vitamins, and minerals.

A less sugary solution is the mud beauty day spa treatment, which involves liberally applying mud to your facial or body skin, waiting for it to dry, and then simply rinsing with water. Not only does it moisturize, but it will also open your pores.

The rinsing action carries away toxins that stick to the mud, and the minerals can boost your skin's elasticity. As an added bonus, the mud one can also decrease the appearance of cellulite and acne.

Another natural remedy available at the average beauty day spa involves something that constantly surrounds us, called oxygen. This can help slow the appearance of aging, as oxygen applied to the face is known for reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Whether you have signs of aging, cellulite, or dry skin that just looks ravaged by the sun and wind, an oxygen spa treatment can help.

Nature is still on your side when you use a seaweed mask to rejuvenate your facial skin. Seaweed moisturizes and tones, mainly due to its mineral salts.

Rather than use pure seaweed, you can have honey added to your mask for the ultimate moisturizer. Many people also use this mixture on their body to feel rejuvenated all around.

If you think you look older or less smooth than you used to, a calming day at a salon can fix that. There is no surgery involved. Simple, relaxing masks applied for less than a half hour can obtain results for you.

Best of all, if you can't make it to your favorite beauty day spa, you can mix up most of these ingredients at home to make a mask that will make you feel like a million bucks again.

Pittsburgh day spa pampers you the most and provides you with proper skin care treatments. Get the ultimate relaxing experience. You get all this and much more. To know more, visit http://www.acquablumedicalspa.com

Best Natural Pimple & Acne Treatment For Teens

Author: Ellen Berces
Source: ezinearticles.com

Acne has been described as the "scourge of adolescence." About 80% of teens have some acne, even if only pimples. About one teenager in five is troubled with acne in its more severe forms which leave scars. Treatment then, should be prompt so as to avoid the scarring that occurs in neglected areas. The usual treatment with a doctor involves an evaluation of the case whether it is a mild form of acne or a severe type.

Medicines such as Retin-A, benzoyl peroxide, tetracycline or other antibiotics may be advised and should be supervised carefully by the doctor. With the trend in alternative medicine nowadays, are there any natural remedies available in the market to best prevent this common inflammatory disease of the skin?

When my daughter was 15 years old she was devastated with mild acne. It was a time of her life where she became especially concerned over her appearance and any blemish on her skin caused so much embarrassment. Home remedies such as toothpaste, lime juice or honey never worked for her pimples so I had to take her to a dermatologist. The remedy involved 6 sessions of facial treatment that involved pricking the pimples and black/whiteheads which were painful.

It was a rather expensive treatment but the result was very positive. On the 3rd month she had clearer and smoother skin. However, to maintain her pimple-free skin, regular monthly facial treatment was required which cost a lot. Skipping a month or two meant a break-out and she would have to start the 6 sessions again. Needless to say, I had to find a better solution than being tied down to her monthly visits with the dermatologist. I did not want it to be a lifetime regimen for her.

A friend introduced me to a soap made of all natural carrot and papaya extract. Leaving the lather to dry on my daughters skin overnight made her pimples dry out fast. It contained no animal fat, vegetable or mineral oil. Papaya exfoliates dead skin and carrot with its Vitamin A rejuvenates and protects from viral, fungal or bacterial infections. She simply washed her face in the morning and night, and the break-outs never occurred again. It was the miracle solution that we were looking for and she never went back to the doctor.

We all have different skin types and I will not say it would work 100% for everyone the same way as with my daughters skin but I am sure majority who plan to use it may have positive results.

What to do to prevent pimples:

1) Cleanse the skin of the face twice daily with Jessa Papaya Soap using warm water. Avoid medicated soap and excessive washing.

2) Abstain from using cosmetics except for simple foundation lotions.

3) Have adequate rest, sleep at least eight hours each night.

4) Eat a well-balanced, wholesome diet. Avoid between-meal snacks including sweet drinks. Do not over eat, avoid chocolate and cola drinks.

5) Try to avoid anxiety.

6) Do not use medications or drugstore remedies except as a doctor directs.

7) For an extensive program on the natural healing of acne, try the "Acne No More" method which is now available in the market.

It is best to treat acne the natural way to avoid side effects and expensive medicines. In general, teenagers should build up their health so as to become more resistant to all kinds of illness and must avoid anything that may aggravate the skin condition.

After having gone through the teen acne months with my daughter, I am confident and would definitely encourage using the Jessa Herbal Soap or the Acne No More method which is an all natural prevention and treatment of acne.

Author: Groshan Fabiola

Symptoms of the skin condition called Rosacea occur after a period of time. In the beginning the patients observe their skin has become very sensitive and they blush far more easily than before. Almost all kind of facial care products burn the face skin and it gets quickly irritated.

In time symptoms of Rosacea get more visible and a sort of cheek redness occurs, assembling a sunburn reaction. All symptoms of the initial Rosacea are transitory.
The most common signs of Rosacea d?but are:
1. Facial redness or flushing after sun exposure or alcohol consume. Both increase the blood flow in the facial area and the blood vessels tend to expand causing the redness of the facial skin. The red pattern has different forms in men and women. Men usually show signs of redness on the nose, upper chest and neck but it can appear in other facial areas as well. In women the flushing is localized on the cheeks, nose and forehead or in a butterfly form across cheeks and nose.
2. Pimples occur on the red areas or on the edges and can be differenced from acne points as they do not have black or white heads.
3. The small thin blood vessels become visible and look like a spider web. Red thin lines appear especially on the cheeks and are known as Teleangiectasia.
4. A swollen nose may become obvious mostly in men where the nose also enlarges and stays permanently red.
5. Eye irritations evolve with redness, burning, drying, mucous secretions, tearing, conjunctivitis and swollen eyelids. Patients with rosacea do not tolerate eye lenses and in severe cases the vision might be damaged.

A connection between Rosacea and migraine headaches has been discovered to be caused by the increased blood flow in the vessels.

No actual treatment for Rosacea was discovered; the condition can only be prevented and kept under control as it can become more dangerous or permanent otherwise.

Papulopustular Rosacea evolves with the appearance of small pimples, flushing and thin vessel visible. You need to use both ointments and antibiotics.

The erythematoteleangiectatic Rosacea is represented by facial redness, teleangiectasia and burning sensations. You should treat it with oral antibiotics, morning sunscreen and gentle anti-inflammatory. If the medication has no results, a laser beam surgery might help.

Ocular Rosacea is diagnosed when the eyes are dry, red and irritated, the eyelids are swollen and you have a permanent sensation of foreign objects. In severe cases the patients feel pain and have troubled vision. Artificial tears, ointments and antibiotics may help.

Phymatous type of Rosacea includes thin skin and enlarged pores. It is usually localized on the nose causing rhynophyma but can also occur on the forehead, chin or eyelids. Pimples, flushing and thin blood vessels can appear and the early treatment is Isotrentinoin. Later you may have to appeal to laser resurfacing.

Symptoms of Rosacea usually improve in 2-4 weeks of treatment. Identifying and avoiding triggers must be a pert of the cure.
